Australian Buyers Choose Zeekr 7X Over Established Premium Rivals

December 4th, 2025

The Zeekr 7X has claimed the top spot in Australia's competitive premium medium SUV segment, delivering 682 units in November 2025 to become the country's best-selling medium SUV priced over $60,000*.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for the electric SUV, which only began customer deliveries on 15 October 2025. In less than two months on the market, the Zeekr 7X has established itself as a serious contender in the premium segment, signalling growing acceptance of Chinese automotive brands among Australian luxury car buyers.

What's Driving the Success?

According to Li, the November result reflects informed purchasing decisions based on the vehicle's merits. "Our customers are making informed choices based on product merit – the Zeekr 7X's superior range, cutting-edge technology, and refined driving experience speaks for itself," he said.

The strong performance has been fuelled by positive industry reviews, enthusiastic customer testimonials, and rapidly growing brand awareness in the Australian market.

Expansion Plans to Meet Demand

To support the growing customer base, Zeekr Australia is accelerating its retail footprint. The company plans to establish additional sales and service locations across metropolitan and regional centres throughout 2026, expanding beyond its current network of 12 locations nationwide.

"Our commitment extends well beyond the initial purchase," Li emphasised. "We're strategically investing in physical infrastructure, technical service capabilities, and partnerships to ensure Zeekr owners experience the premium ownership journey they deserve – one that matches the sophistication of the product itself."

The company remains focused on maintaining delivery momentum while preserving the quality and attention to detail that customers expect from the brand.
